To All Members Holding the Line: Thank You
Members of the Carpenters’ Union province-wide continue to be on strike in the industrial, commercial and institutional (ICI) sector of the construction industry.
Although we would prefer to be at work, the membership has clearly spoken and this strike action is necessary to get our members the compensation they deserve in the face of spiraling cost of living increases being experienced in Ontario.
On behalf of the Carpenters’ Union, we would like to express our thanks and gratitude to each and every one of our members for their tremendous solidarity during this time.
The Union is looking to get back to the bargaining table with the Employers. We hope for a speedy resolution so we can return to work.
